Use a 29" diameter ceiling fan for bathrooms and hallways measuring up to 50 sq.ft.
Use a 36" diameter ceiling fan for lunch rooms or laundry rooms measuring up to 75 sq.ft.
Use a 42" diameter ceiling fan for small bedrooms or kitchenettes measuring up to 100 sq.ft.
Use a 50" or 52" diameter ceiling fan for standard bedrooms or family rooms measuring up to 400 sq.ft.
Use a 54" diameter ceiling fan for large rooms measuring more than 400 sq.ft.
