1. Are you a licensed electrician?

Yes, our company is licensed by the Ontario Electrical Contractor Authority ensuring your home electrical system is protected.

2. Do you have insurance?

Yes, PIRE Electric Inc is fully insured, protecting you, your property and our technicians in the event any damage might happen.

3. What is your prior experience?

The business owner is a Master Electrician who lives in the local area and has over 20 years experience. This means your home electrical system is protected, ensuring your safety and reduced risk of electrical hazards

4. May I see some references?

We would be happy to supply references upon request. Since most jobs are not alike, we prefer to give you references applicable to the type of work you are requesting.

5. What is your specialization?

As a master electrician we have been exposed to many different electrical installations for various electrical equipment. Residential Electrical is our preferred area of business. If for any reason we do not feel qualified to do your type of job, we will be up front and tell you ahead of time.

6. Who will undertake the actual work?

Our Master electrician is responsible for all jobs completed. We may assign a job to a Journeyman Electrician or Apprentice Electrician, however the final sign-off for completions is the Master Electricians responsibility.

7. Do I need a permit for getting this work done?

In most cases a professional electrician will pull a permit as required. A permit acts as a safeguard for any electrical work done and is thoroughly inspected by the lead electrician.

8. What all warranties and guarantees do you cover?

Yes, warranty of material, labor and parts installed will be covered under the electrical contract for a minimum of 12 months.

9. What all work will you perform & the estimate of the complete job?

A very important question, electrical jobs can require removal of drywall, flooring or other areas of your home that will later have to be repaired by another subcontractor. We will discuss an estimate of the entire project or work including these incidental repairs or just the electrical portion of the job at your request.

10. What do you charge for your service?

When we provide you with an estimate for your job, it will include all service fees and the hourly charge for the number of hours estimated. If unforeseen items come up during the project, we will discuss these with you before proceeding with any extra hours or fees. There will be no hidden charges.
